Pure Offices provide a wide range of private office spaces to rent in Aylesbury, offering high-standard workplaces for organisations of all sizes. Their buildings are designed to prioritise flexibility and well-being, with unfurnished office suites enabling tenants to shape the space to their needs.
Project Requirement
Spectra was engaged to review Pure Offices Aylesbury’s energy consumption and to design and install a new Solar PV system to supplement their existing arrays.
The client provided the following key data:
- Annual electricity consumption: approx. 62,000 kWh
- Estimated on-site solar PV utilisation: 78% of total production
- Roof pitch: 20°
- Electricity cost: approx. £0.40 per kWh
The objective was to deliver a high-performing renewable energy system that reduced grid dependency, provided strong ROI, and supported Pure Offices’ Net Zero ambitions.
Spectra Energy Group Delivery
Spectra Energy Group acted as Principal Contractor, delivering the project during normal working hours and providing:
- Full Principal Contractor (PC) duties
- Construction Phase Plan
- Structural roof survey
- Full roof edge protection
- Controlled access/egress via the north end of the building to minimise disruption
This was delivered under our full Design & Build (D&B) responsibility.
